Claire is known as a little bit of a know-it-all too-sassy-for-her-own-good troublemaker. Feeling like she belongs nowhere she tends to lash out, cause conflicts and plainly ignore school work. And what‘s making everything worse- even her parents start to doubt her.
With this difficult situation in school and at home, Claire is looking for distraction. Something more scandalous than anything she has ever done. The most annoying and provocative middle finger she could give the world and her parents. And she finds it: a same sex relationship with a girl. And not just any girl: Nancy, a pious Christian girl that works in the headmaster’s office to gain some brownie points.
And what could be more scandalous than turning a good girl bad? What’s the worst that could happen? Claire is, after all, straight. 
Only that there were three things that she had not calculated: 1) Nancy is not as straight as she seemed, 2) Claire is not as straight as she had initially thought and 3) she had completely and utterly underestimated Nancy’s good influence.
Faster than she can blink Claire is falling for the silent sweet girl. And more surprisingly, she is on her way to finding peace with herself.
