how can terezi type with a quirk if shes blind (or write)

terezi isn’t 100% blind: she sees through smells/tastes of colours. a fantasy synthesia, if you will. it was taught to her through her lusus—a dragon who also senses the world the same way.

her vision is blurred at worst, and almost-perfect at best as licking the monitor gives her a crystal-clear view. it fluxuates as shes breathes in and out!

yes terezi was 100% blind at first once her eyes were burnt out, but her taught vision means she can now see. her eyes are dead, but her vision isn’t

terezi can basically see everything, and can pick out people’s facial features even when she’s above them looking down. her range also seems to be pretty long too, seeing as in cascade karkat only had to move her arm slightly when she was pointing out into space. terezi also writes perfectly and clearly—obviously we know she is fully capable of typing too.

the fandom perception of her ‘facing the wrong way’ is grossly incorrect to her character and her capabilities of overcoming her disability.

look at her finger, and not her whole arm. she is only incorrect by inches. she is not facing the wrong way??? considering how far away that meteor is, terezi is probably pointing to it closer than i could—she actually has better vision than i do and i’m short-sighted… pls don’t misrepresent her :(
